About our studio

Buffalo Creek Recording is an all-digital Pro Tools studio running on a Macintosh G4 system with a Pro Tools analog-to-digital audio interface. We have an assortment of Shure and Samson microphones for all applications — whether you need to capture a voice or an entire drumset.

Speaking of drumsets, you can save yourself the trouble of bringing your own, because we've got that covered, too. You'll have access to acoustic, electric, and sampled drums, giving you a choice between simplicity, flexibility, or a perfect blend of both. And with in-house musicians and programming available, you don't need to worry about finding the missing piece of your band — we've got you covered. At Buffalo Creek Recording, it really is easy to get the music in your head onto your CD player. Listen to some of our previous work or contact us today and find out for yourself.

At $40/hr for basic recording sessions, our prices are some of the most competitive in the business; for the quality that we offer at that rate, our services are an unbeatable value in the industry.

We perform a number of services, from front-end recording to post-production and beyond. Here's a breakdown of what we offer currently and the rates for each service:

Studio time (clock starts when the engineer begins working with you. This includes any setup and debugging of noise/sound problems) $40/hr
Post-production (such as mastering, vocal pitch-correction, and vocal phrasing) $40/hr
Buffalo Creek studio musicians $30/track1
Live drums $30/song
Drum programming $15/song

1A track is here defined as an instrumental section in the recording process, not an entire song. If our musicians perform multiple instruments or multiple simultaneous instances of the same instrument, the rate applies to each instance.
